James Cracknell has announced a long-term partnership with the Great West Run, the long-running and popular half-marathon staged annually in the heart of Exeter and the surrounding countryside. The Great West Run will see over 3000 runners of all levels take to the streets of Exeter City Centre, running a 13.1 mile course.
“I’m very excited to get involved because I genuinely believe people get a huge amount out of setting themselves challenges and achieving goals which they can take back into their everyday lives,” said James.
James is a keen marathon runner, completing many marathons for chosen charities including theLondon Marathon in 2006, 2015 and 2016. He will help to develop and grow the profile of the run regionally and nationally.
